All photographs on www.giftphotography.co.za web site are the property of Gift Photography and Video. For the avoidance of doubt all copyright of the photographs is owned absolutely by Gift Photography and Video within the provision of the Copyright of Act 1978.
Low resolution photographs on the web site and the blog are for demonstration of the photographer’s work only. We respectfully remind you that it is contrary to this Act to copy or allow to be copied photographically, electronically or by any other means any photograph without the express permission of Gift Photography and Video. Likewise, the photographs may not be in any way modified and no derivative work may be made from the images without the permission of Gift Photography and Video.
All the information is correct at the time of being published on the web site. Gift Photography and Video retains the right to change any information on the web site without notice.
Photo shoot package purchase
When purchasing a photo shoot package you agree with the following terms and conditions.
Date and location are to be agreed with Gift Photography and Video. Location shoots must be within 25km from Gift Photography & Video Studios.
If applicable a non-refundable booking fee of specified value shall be paid in order to secure the date and time for a shoot. The remainder (total services and products price less booking fee) shall be paid any time before or on the day of the photo shoot. Additional photographic services or products shall be paid for in full at time of ordering.
The Client agrees that Gift Photography and Video may display any of the images taken during the session for their promotional activities (i.e. website/leaflets/social media) providing that the images used are used lawfully and without damage to the Client.
Negatives and digital files from a photo shoot remain the property of the Photographer. For the avoidance of doubt all copyright in the images are owned absolutely by the Photographer within the provision of the Copyright of Act 1978.
Delivery Policy
Prints, DVDs and or photo books may be required to be collected from the studio due to the fragile nature of the products or value of their content. In this case, collection must be made by appointment. If courier services are required please enquirer at the studio for the extra charge required for such a service.
Cancellation Policy
In the event that you do need to postpone your baby, maternity, family or newborn photo shoot, we require 7 days notice or a cancellation charge, equivalent to your photo session booking fee, will apply.
Gift Photography and Video will always try to accommodate changing schedules and will be happy to refund or postpone any portrait shoot if cancelled or rescheduled within the notice period.
Return and Refunds Policy
In case of collection or delivery of photographic products to the client by post, any complaints regarding an issue with photographic products such as manufacturer’s fault/defect, shall be sent to Gift Photography and Video in writing within 14 days of receipt of the products, along with the faulty photographic products. Gift Photography and Video will rectify the problem and endeavor to supply the photographic product to the client as soon as possible. After the 14 day period no returns on photographic products will be accepted and no refunds will be made by EGift Photography and Video.
Complaints
Please address any complaints to Gift Photography and Video by email or in writing to the address below. We endeavour to respond to any complaint within one working day.
